Sanction: USCF permit pending. USCF rules apply. Registration closes 30 minutes prior to race start. Permit # or permit pending. Unlicensed riders must buy a single-day license. Virginia BAR event.
Awards: Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to each class.
Entry Fee: $20 pre-registered by July 4. $25 day of event. Register online at www.commonwealthgames.org
All New Road Race
Rocky Mount area course: Challenging 10.5 Mile rolling to hilly course
featuring 4% one mile climb of Sixmile Post Road. Start/finish spur off
main course at Waid Park entrance. Uphill finish. Rural road course,
surface varies from smooth asphalt to coarse pavement. Recommend strong
wheels and tires. Gearing 39x21/23.
NO FEED ZONE. NO PERSONAL FOLLOW VEHICLES ON COURSE. WHEELS IN
WHEELS OUT SUPPORT.

Which race do I enter?
If you've never raced before and don't know which race to enter here are your
options:
~ If you wish to become a USCF member and begin to race regularly, buy an
annual license for $50 at registration. Then Men age 19 and over
would race the Men Cat 5; Men age 18 and under would race the Men
Juniors. Women would race the Women Cat 1,2,3,4.
~ If you wish to do only the Commonwealth Games Road Race buy a one day
license for $5 at registration. Then Men Age 19 and over would race the
Men Cat 5; Men age 18 and under would race the Men Juniors. Women
would race the Women Cat 1,2,3,4
