College Park Racing, the Mt. Airy Bicycle Club and the Greenbelt National Park welcomes all racers to another season in the Park. The following information is per USA Cycling approval.
The race will be held every Wednesday evening beginning May 3 and ending Aug 30, 2000. The race location is the Greenbelt National Park in Greenbelt MD (near Rt. 193 and Kenilworth Rd intersection). The course loop is the roadway encompassing the Park and measures approximately 1.5 miles. The race start times and distances may vary depending upon safe race conditions and the Chief Referee and/or Park Rangers' discretion.

The 5 top riders for each A and B race will be given points toward an overall series placing. Upon completion of the Series, the top 3 riders in both A and B categories will be awarded prizes. The base points structure, on a per race basis, is 10/7/5/3/1 points for 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th places, respectively. Race participation determines the weight of each point earned on a given day. Should 10 or fewer riders are present for a given race; the prize points will be reduced by half. Should 30 or more riders participate; prize points will be doubled. The Series prizes this year will consist of certificates toward purchased items from the College Park Bicycle shop in the following amounts. The A race prizes are $250/100/50 for 1st/2nd/3rd overall place, respectively. Similarly, the B race award structure is: $150/75/25. The C race prize list will consist of merchandise prizes for the top 3 finishers of each race.
All entrance fees are non-refundable but may be credited towards a later race date. All vouchers including any license fees are paid for in the TGI Friday's back parking lot directly across Rt. 193 from the Park. Registration and Staging is then located at the Holly Picnic Area inside the Park. The race format may change with approval of both the promoter and USCF Officials. The race will be held unless adverse weather conditions exist as deemed by the promoter, Chief Referee and/or Park Rangers. Should a race in progress need to be cancelled, no entrance fee amount will be refunded. However, should the race be cancelled prior to start time, the race voucher may be used for another race date. Note: if rain is forecast for Wednesday afternoon or evening, advance notice of race cancellations may be made by 4pm that day. Use the contact information listed below for updates.
