This clinic is aimed primarily at women, however topics of interest to all cyclists will be addressed and all cyclists are welcome to attend. The schedule begins at 9:00 am Saturday morning with a lecture by Laura on race tactics, strategy and training as well as time for a question and answer period. This "classroom" part of the clinic will be at the UVA Musculoskeletal Center building on Fontaine Avenue. After lunch a road clinic will emphasize racing skills and techniques. Sunday morning we'll have a more informal group ride with Laura Charameda leading. The cost is $30, all proceeds will go to benefit the Charlottesville Free Clinic, a health care center run by volunteer doctors and nurses for the working poor.
