Road Race - William Byrd Highschool Registration closes 30 min prior to category start.

Hillclimb - Bellview Ave. at the base of Mill Mountain (Same location as Tour d' Festival)
Registration closes 30 min prior to category start, you MUST SIGN in at least 30min before your race time.
Numbers and exact starting times will be assigned after registration for each group has been completed.

Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each division.

Road Race

The RR will start and finish at Milepost 113. There will be a significant amount of climbing on excellent road surfaces. Each race will consist of one out and back loop. The road WILL NOT be closed to vehicular traffic during the races. Unofficial following vehicles are not permitted (Subject to Park Service citation) A broom wagon will be provided. At each turnaround point (marked by colored signs) water will be available.

Turnarounds: Orange - Milepost 123 - Turnaround for 20 mile race Blue - Milepost 129.5 - Turnaround for 32 mile race Green - Milepost 133 - Turnaround for 40 mile race

Parking: There will be NO PARKING on the Parkway at the Start/Finish line. Parking will be available at William Byrd highschool. A shuttle bus will be available to shuttle spectators to the start/finish line.

Hillclimb

: The hillclimb will start at the corner of Bellview and Walnut Ave. The course is a 1.87 mile 847 vertical feet gain climb up the front side of Mill Mountain.

Parking: Riders should park at Victory Stadium, a 5 min ride to the starting line. Restrooms and water are available at the start and finish.

ELIGIBILITY

The following people may participate in the Commonwealth games

Residents of Virginia for 30days prior to the first day of competition
Students enrolled at a Virginia academic institution
U.S. Military personnel or family members stationed at a base in Virginia.

Exceptions: Person residing in adjacent states who belong to a club based in Virginia which regularly competes in Virginia, and whose home state either does not have a state games, or does not sponsor the sport in question.
