Top ten finishers in each category will be awarded D42 BAR points in their appropriate divisions as definied by the official BAR rules of 1998.
Entry fees: Public - $18 (includes one-day license fee), Pro,1,2 - $20. All other licensed categories - $15. Second race of Day fee - $10 all categories.
Entry fee includes $2 USCF insurance and $1 District Assn surcharge. Unattached riders add $5. Entries postmarked after March 7, 1998 include $5 LATE FEE. No phone entires or refunds. ONLY pre-registered State/ National champions eligible for entry fee rebate.
Course description: 1 mile flat criterium w/ wide turns. Strong winds often a factor.
Registration: opens at 9:00am and closes 15 minutes before the start of each race. Events are held rain or shine. All start times are approximate. All entrants must have a current USCF license. Public one-day license REQUIRED and must be purchased at registration. All USCF rules apply. Riders under 18 years of age MUST have a parents signature. ANSI approved helmets mandatory in all events. No aero-bars allowed. Field limit in all races is 100 maximum, 10 minimum. This event is conducted under a permit issued byt the U.S. Cycling Federation.
Directions: Take I-64 to Indian River Rd East (Exit 286B). Follow the Virginia Beach Amphitheater signs (approx 5.5 miles) all the way from the expressway via Indian River Rd. to Ferrell Pkwy and take the overpass to Princess Anne Rd. Continue on Princess Anne Rd to the Amphitheater Complex. Turn RIGHT at Concert Dr and proceed around to the gravel parking lots. Registration will be to the LEFT of the Ticket Sales Office.
