5 mile (24+ laps) Scratch - "OPEN" Event for Men & Women

* 200m TT to qualify if more than eight riders

Entry Information

Pre-registration: $10.00 per event or $25.00 for District Omnium (includes all four events). Pre-registration closes September 1st. District Champions must pre-enter, send full payment, and wear jersey for $10.00 rebate. Make checks payable to M.V.C. Send approved 1997 USCF release form with payment to:

Out of state riders $15.00, includes all TT and Open events for both days. (Out of State riders DO NOT compete against MD/DE/VA riders in championship events).

Race Day Registration: $15.00 per event or $35.00 for District Omnium. Out of State fee for TT and Open races - $5.00 per event per day PLUS $2.00 insurance fee per day. Registration opens at 7 A.M. and closes at 8:30 A.M. both days. Racing starts promptly at 9 A.M.!!

Race Information:

Championship events are open only to USCF licensed riders from the states of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. Out of State results DO NOT count against MD/DE/VA results. No Out of State riders in the sprints or points races. Omnium winners in each class will be declared District 20 Champions. Omnium points will be awarded 7,5,3,2,1 to top finishers in each event (except 200m). In the event of rain 200m times will determine sprint winners. Top eight times in the 200m qualify for Sprint. 200m may be eliminated if fewer than nine riders and good weather. Sprints are double elimination. Minimum field for each class is five riders - NO EXCEPTIONS!!
