Thanks to all those who came out and enjoyed the 8th Annual Charles City Road Race. It was a great success. Although there were fewer participants than in past years, we were still able to raise some decent money for the Charles City Recreation Department.
The day started out a bit coolish but by midday was absolutely gorgeous - sunny and in the low 60s. Couldn't have asked for better weather.
This was my first year promoting this race and I made a few mistakes and learned an awful lot. Look for a bigger race with more money next year.
